Here’s where to get Magic Powder in The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening for Switch.
Where to Get Magic Powder
There’s two main reasons someone would ask where to get Magic Powder in The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening for Switch. Either they haven’t gotten it at all yet, or they need more for later in the game. We’ll answer both questions here, starting with the first. If you don’t have Magic Powder at all then you have two options.
The first is to win some Magic Powder at the Trendy Game, which is found right in Mabe Village. This crane game offers a few prizes, one of which is the Magic Powder. Just follow the instructions and grab it with the crane to gain your first bit of this useful item. Secondly, you can perform a fetch quest for the witch in the Witch’s Hut. She needs the Sleepy Toadstool to make some for you, which will allow you to buy it from the Magic Shop found within. The Witch’s Hut is found to the east of the Mysterious Forest where you’ll also find the Toadstool she needs.
The Sleepy Toadstool is found at the end of the path through the Mysterious Forest. Just follow this path, moving any rocks in your way, and eventually you’ll come upon this important item. Once you have it, continue until you reach the Witch’s Hut, then equip the Toadstool and give it to her. You’ll have to walk away and come back later, but once you do you can buy Magic Powder from the Magic Shop.
Once you have your first bag of Magic Powder you can always return to the Mysterious Forest and grab another Toadstool then repeat this whole process to get more of it. There are a few other ways to get more Magic Powder though, including breaking jars and other random things within dungeons and out in the overworld. You should get some Magic Powder randomly as you adventure, but if you require some right away this is the best way to get it.
And that’s all there is to know about where to get Magic Powder in The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening for Switch.
