Fallout 76: How to Move and Pick Up Camp
When it comes down to it, Fallout 76 is all about your camp. Sure, exploring the post-apocalyptic wasteland of West Virginia is cool, and doing it with friends is a whole lot of fun. But the main point of all that exploring is gathering resources so you can improve your camp. One big change from settlements in Fallout 4 is that your Fallout 76 camp is mobile, and you’ll definitely want to take advantage, but how do you move an entire camp? Here’s a quick guide on how to move camp in Fallout 76.
Of course, if you haven’t already built a camp you can’t really move it yet, now can you. If you’re still looking to build a brand new camp then click here and we’ll help you out.
While the task may be huge, it’s actually really easy to pull off once you’re in the game. As usual, you just need your handy Pip-Boy. Pull it up using B or Circle then press the left bumper on Xbox One or L1 on PS4 (check the bottom left of your screen for the exact button). This will prep your camp for moving to a new location.
The only question now is where to move it to? Depending on how far away it is, the cost will go up, so try not to jump from one side of the map to the other. All the usual restrictions still apply as well, so no building near other objects. Once you decide where you want your camp to go all of your stuff will arrive there as well. Your supplies will be in the Stored menu in the Camp menu. Go there and you can start fully rebuilding your camp at its new location.
And that’s it for how to move camp in Fallout 76. As usual, it’s an easy process made more complicated by the strictures of the franchise. Try it out and let us know if you run into any problems along the way.
