Challenge tracking bugs have been present in previous Call of Duty games like Warzone and Black Ops Cold War, so this is nothing new for veteran players. Issues like these typically get resolved with a patch shortly after the glitch pops up, but the timing could be different for this glitch since Vanguard is still so new.
