When you start a game of hockey, how to win seems pretty simple: make sure your team has scored more goals than the other team by the end of the game. While the concept of winning the game seems pretty simple, actually doing it can be a little more complicated. Scoring goals in NHL 21 is no different and finding a way to reliably put it in the net could be one of the harder things you’ll do in the game.
The month of Gen 1 starters (for the most part) continues in Pokémon GO with Charmander Spotlight Hour. These weekly events focus on one particular Pokémon and offer an extra bonus to enjoy. The Fire type starter will be spawning everywhere once things kick off, offering a great chance to catch Shiny Charmander. But to get one and enjoy everything about the event you need to know how to prepare and what to do.
Pokemon GO events usually have special tickets that players can buy to get full access to the event activities, and the Tour: Johto Ticket is no different. Just like the previous Pokemon GO event centered around the Kanto region, the Tour: Johto event will celebrate the second generation of Pokemon and the Johto region. The actual event doesn’t begin until the end of February, but there are plenty of benefits to buying the ticket early.
Pokemon Sun and Moon added a bunch of new features to the Pokemon experience. One of the less used, but more important ones is easily the QR Scanner, which allows you to use Island Scan to find rare Pokemon. The reason it’s so underused is likely because it’s kind of hidden, nobody walks you through what it does or how it works. With the second global mission being based solely on this feature, we figured it was time that we helped.
The Aquarium Park is the fifth world in Sonic Colors: Ultimate. Given the name, yes, it’s a level with a lot of underwater sections. Water levels are usually some of the less popular levels in platformer games in general. They’re a lot slower, sometimes more drawn out than they need to be, and sometimes can leave us off with some memories that just don’t seem to go away (like the Labyrinth Zone from the first Sonic game).
The Division 2: Warlords of New York has officially launched, and with it comes the much anticipated Gear 2.0 overhaul to loot. The marque Title Update 8 feature has altered the UI and made it easier to parse, refactored stats found on equipment, and completely changed how talents work. Talents in the past came in a variety of flavors, and they would appear on damn near every piece of equipment available.
Digital Extremes just dropped Update 30.7 for Warframe. It’s an update that consists of a couple gigabytes, but has so much to unpack. What perfect timing for the update too. The game is in the middle of ongoing double credit and affinity weekends leading up to the long-awaited release of The New War. The patch notes for this update are so vast in size because of the plethora of fixes and changes to current assets in the game.
Though the possibility of featuring a FOV slider has been in limbo for console players since the inception of Call of Duty Warzone, the question has been put to rest by the developers for the First Person Battle Royale just a few days back. This official response coincided with the release of Season 2 for Vanguard and Warzone and seemingly came about as a result of nipping player curiosities in the bud before they bloom, due to priorities of the upcoming season including changes that would better quality of life, and a FOV slider would presumably fall under the purview of such optimizations.
Yakuza 6: The Song of Life features a brand new mini-game in the Clan Creator, this semi-RTS mode where the player builds their very own version of the Kiryu Clan. During the span of the game, Kiryu can recruit new members in a couple of different ways:  1) Through battling NPCs which you’ll encounter in street fights 2)  By welcoming enemies who’ve you defeated within the mode itself. However there is another way that you can add new members to the Kiryu Clan and effectively unlock all characters in Clan Creator.
